It’s so robust, you can use it as a doorstop or a bookend in your study or living room – or partner it with a Quercus acorn for asymmetrical bookends. The-materials

The Strobus pine cone is made from moulded cement. We wanted to use a more rugged material but to give it a fresh, decorative use. With its rustic texture and washed finish, it brings contrast and balance to smooth, finished rooms.

Design-details

For a house to feel like a home, it needs things that are purely decorative. Like a picture or a sculpture that will add life and texture to a room. Our ornaments have lots of different finishes, so they look like they’ve been collected over time, and are all part of your unique story.

Design-inspiration

Pine trees are among the oldest plants on the planet. Our brain’s pineal gland, shaped like (and named after) the pine cone, is considered by many to be our Third Eye (‘Eye of Insight’). So for centuries, for many cultures, the pine cone is the symbol of human enlightenment.Also, the pine cone displays the Golden spiral or Fibonacci spiral which links to the ‘Golden ratio’ – a mathematical ratio seen universally in nature.

Delivery

Smaller parcel deliveries:

  • Standard delivery fee: £6.95 for orders under £150 (€30 for orders under €250 in Ireland).
  • Next working day delivery: £9.95, available on parcel deliveries to the UK only. Order before 1pm on a working day, no minimum spend.
  • Free standard delivery: on orders over £150 (€250 in Ireland).

Standard parcel deliveries to mainland UK for in-stock items will arrive within 5 days via our approved couriers.

Larger furniture deliveries:

  • Delivered through our Neptune Home Delivery Service, with charges based on the required service level. See our full delivery policy for details.
  • Made-to-order or unavailable items will be dispatched upon arrival at our warehouse, or we’ll contact you to arrange delivery.
