Included-in-your-set
Our Purbeck garden set consists of one Compton coffee table, which sit nicely with our Purbeck sofawith back and seat cushions as well as two armchairswith back and seat cushions. Scatter cushions can be purchased separately here for an extra touch of colour.
Also included are the chair cushions, but if you’d like to add scatters, those are available separately here.
The-materials
Purbeck’s made with a woven resin fibre we call ‘all-weather wicker’ – it’s got very much the same look as natural rattan, but it’s happy being left outside and will make your life much easier (as well as having a longer lifespan). To make the table more practical – and stop crumbs gathering in the weave – it’s topped with toughened glass that’s easy to wipe clean.
The-seat-cushions
All our garden furniture cushions are made from natural-coloured, weather-resistant fabric, so you needn’t bring them inside if there’s a quick summer shower. They’re not completely weatherproof, though, so don’t leave them out all year long or in pouring rain. They’re filled with foam, which is soft but keeps its shape well, and the covers are removable, so they’re easy to clean.
How-it-feels
Purbeck’s got a high, wraparound back, so it feels really snug, and the back cushions can be shuffled around to suit the way you’re sitting.
Design-details
Purbeck’s edges are neatly finished with a line of plaited wicker. The legs have small plastic feet to protect them from dirt, moisture and scuffs and make the seats easier to move. On the table, the glass top’s secured with almost invisible rubber ‘suckers’.
